We deliver the seminars and training courses on-site and they are tailored to the special needs of each client.

Management have a great deal of scope to prevent accidents happening by

• Leading by example
• Organisation/Eliminating potential dangers
• Giving effective instructions
• Motivating staff to behave in the correct manner and
• Imposing sanctions for those who do not behave appropriately.

The seminar deals with the five central management functions listed above and is problem-oriented. Participant practice the techniques, methods and approaches taught in real safety topics in their own areas of responsibility and develop concrete plans of corrective action.

Working groups are suitable both to sensitise staff in matters of working safely and also to glean information with regard to accidents which almost happened. In each case they consist of a small group of about five staff members and their superiors. Each group meeting lasts approximately one hour and takes place either at or near the place of work concerned. Afterwards the findings are documented and also made available to others. A working group comprises the following actions:

• Staff list accidents or near-misses at their own place of work / work station and
• analyse the cause for one selected near-miss.
• A proposal for improvement to eliminate or reduce the likelihood of the cause of the accident is made

In the seminar the participants train to become competent moderators / chairpersons within the working group.
